Youth Kayak Adventure Camp
This camp for youth ages 12-16 teaches basic kayaking skills and safety, watershed education, and includes a guided float on Bald Eagle Creek. Kayaks and gear provided but limited, participants can bring their own equipment. Pre-registration required. Participants must be prepared with proper clothing/footwear, snacks and water. Kayak Day
Enjoy the beauty of the river and scenery on a relaxing kayak adventure from Lime Ridge to a private island on the Susquehanna. You can relax or explore the trails on the island prior to being treated to a cookout on the island. Party in the Park
The South Williamsport Community Park Improvement Association will hold a Party in the Park event at the SW Community Park. The event is open to the public and for all age groups. The proceeds from this event will go towards future improvements for the park. The event will have food trucks, and a craft and vendor fair for the adults and bounce houses, games and activities for the kids. There will be tennis clinics available for both children and adults. The SWCPIA will also have the grand opening and dedication of the new tennis courts at 11:30am. The Heartstrings Band will be playing from 12-2pm. This event will be held in conjunction with the Paws Park Doggone Craft, Food and Vendor Fair at the park. CMY5K Run for Art and Art Fair
Named for Cyan-Magenta-Yellow-blacK, the four colors used in modern digital and offset printing, the CMY5K Race for Art and Art Fair is both a fundraiser for Arthaus Projects and an opportunity for local artists to show their work and interact with the community. Taking advantage of the unique race location at the Lycoming Mall, participants, their families, and the general public are invited to come inside after the race, cool off, and enjoy an art fair featuring local artists and crafters.
